Analysing Title Sequences - Conclusion

From my research into titles in horror films I have noticed a consistency to the order that most of the credits appear in:

• The production company/companies titles 
• The name of the director 
• The title of the film
• The name of the famous actors 
• The names of the crew 

Whilst there are some variations in the order that these titles appear in, commonly most of these titles are included.

In most films I found that the credits play over the opening scene rather than there being a separate title sequence, though I did notice that sometimes the titles appear over plain title cards (often black).

In my opening sequence for 'Se7en Devils' I will include titles for each of the areas outlined above and I will place the titles over black title cards.
