Opening Scenes and Settings - Introduction

In the next set of posts I will be looking at opening scenes which foreground the introduction of setting. The two films I will look at are Fernando Meirelles' 'City of God' and Milos Forman's 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest'.
